General Information
What are the dates of ATC?
The American Transplant Congress will take on June 4 – 8, 2022 at the John B. Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA, USA.
Will ATC provide a Hybrid component?
In-person
We are excited to announce ATC 2022 will return IN-PERSON in Boston, MA. The ATC Program Planning Committee is building a robust program that will allow in-person attendees the opportunity to gain access to innovators in the field while having your voice heard through various types of interaction.

Virtual Only
This year, ATC will ALSO offer a Virtual Only Attendee option for those unable to join in Boston. In-person sessions will be live streamed to the virtual audience in real-time allowing the virtual audiencce the opportunity to submit questions to the inperson speakers in real-time.
Will Speakers & Moderators be In-person?
All ATC Speakers and Moderators will present in-person in Boston, MA.

Will I need to present COVID-19 Vaccine Verification?
Attendees, Exhibitors, and Press will need to upload their COVID-19 vaccine verification prior to printing a registration badge. Once you have uploaded your COVID-19 vaccine verification, you will receive a confirmation email that must be presented at the Vaccine Verification desks located in Hall A, Plaza Level of the Hynes Convention Center.

Registration
When will Registration open?
Registration is now open. Registration fees and categories are currently posted on the ATC website.
Will there be a reduced registration fee to ASTS and/or AST members?
Yes, ATC offers reduced registration fees to ASTS or AST members. Membership dues for 2022 must be paid by May 27, 2022 in order to qualify for MEMBER registration fees. NEW member applications are subject to additional processing time following payment.

When is the Registration discounted deadline?
The ATC discounted registration deadline is May 4, 2022. After this date, registration fees will increase. View registration fees and registration types on the ATC website.
When does the conference officially begin and end?
The official Congress starts on Saturday, June 4 during the In-Depth sessions beginning at 9:30 am ET. The Congress closes on Wednesday, June 8 at 12:30 pm ET.
Where is In-person Attendee Registration & COVID-19 Vaccine Verification Located?
In-person Attendee Registration is located in Hall A, Plaza Level of the Hynes Convention Center. Attendees must present their COVID-19 Vaccine Verfication in Hall A, Plaza Level prior to printing their Registration badge. COVID-19 vaccine verification is presented by showing a confirmation email you receive once your vaccination is uploaded.

Is there a Nursing Mother's Room at the Hynes Convention Center?
Yes, Hynes Convention Center Room 209 is a private meeting room setup for nursing mothers. This room will be open during Open Registration hours.
Hotel Reservations
When will Hotel Reservations be available?
ATC contracts with numerous hotels to provide ATC participants discounted hotel rooms. The ATC hotel block online reservation link is open.
If you would like to book 30 or more hotel rooms, you will need to fill out the Group Hotel Reservation Form, click here.
When is the discounted hotel reservation deadline?
The discounted hotel reservation deadline is May 11, 2022. Rooms are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
Abstract Submission
When is the deadline to submit an abstract?
Abstract submission opened October 1, 2021. The deadline to submit an abstract during the orignal submission to be considered for presentation during ATC is Friday, December 3, 2021, 11:59 PM PT.
Will there be a Late Breaking Abstract submission?
Yes, ATC will have a Late Breaking Abstract submission. Late breaking abstract submission opened January 7, 2022. The deadline to submit an abstract during the late breaking submission to be considered for presentation during the ATC is Friday, February 4, 2022, 11:59 PM PT.
Late Breaking Abstract Submission Policy
Abstracts submitted during the late-breaking time, January 7 - February 4, 2022, will only be considered if the data / analysis were NOT available before the ATC original abstract submission deadline date of December 3, 2021. There are no exceptions. There will be very limited slots for late breaking presentations. Please include a brief justification (on the Questionnaire submission page) why this should be considered a "late breaking abstract".
I submitted my abstract to another meeting. Can I still submit to ATC?
ATC's policy on Previous Presentation of Abstracts is listed below.
Previous Presentation of Abstracts
Abstracts will be considered for presentation if they have NOT been previously published as an article at the TIME OF SUBMISSION.
Full abstract submission guidelines are posted on the ATC website.
Is there a fee to submit an abstract?
Yes, ATC has the following abstract submission fees for each abstract submission:
- $25 for current ASTS and/or AST members (first OR last author)
- $50 for non-members
Instructions on How to Receive the ASTS / AST Member Fee:
- You must log in to the ATC Program User Portal with the email associated with the first or last authors membership account.
- Once you have logged in you will have the option to change the presenting author.
- Please note, the presenting author will be listed as the primary author and will receive all abstract communications.
When will abstract status notifications be sent?
Original and Late Breaking Abstract submission status notifications were sent in February 2022.
Call for Invited Programs
I submitted an invited symposia program to the 2022 Call for Invited Programs. When will I be notified on the status of my submission.
The ATC Program Planning Committee is working hard to create an elevated experience in 2022. Call for Programs status notifications were sent on November 4, 2021. Submission details are available on the ATC website.
When will the Program Schedule be available?
The Program Schedule is available on the Scientific Program page of the ATC website. Full presentation titles and speaker names are included in the downloadable registration brochure. Abstract presentation titles and author information will be available in May 2, 2022.
What Time Zone is the Scientific Program?
The ATC will be taking place in Boston, MA. Therefore, the program schedule is built in Eastern Time Zone.
Education Credits
Will ATC provide the same types of education credits as in past?
Yes, ATC will provide credits / contact hours of the following education credit types:
- CME
- ACPE
- ANCC
- CEPTC
