Boston In-person Entry Protocols

The health and safety of all ATC participants and staff, along with their family members, co-workers and patients, continue to remain our top priority and we’d like to thank you for your support as we plan our next meeting.

COVID-19 Vaccination Required

The ATC 2022 Congress will proceed with a COVID-19 Vaccination Required approach for all attendees, exhibitors, press, and ATC/ASTS/AST staff.

In practice, this means all ATC 2022 attendees, exhibitors, press and ATC/ASTS/AST staff must be fully vaccinated to gain access to the ATC 2022 meeting facilities.

For the purposes of right of entry to ATC 2022, at this time, a person is considered fully vaccinated:

  • 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, or
  • 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine
  • Booster doses are strongly encouraged but not required

This guidance applies to COVID-19 vaccines authorized for use and for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (i.e., Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson (J&J)/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines), and COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use by the World Health Organization (i.e., AstraZeneca/Oxford, Covishield, Sinopharm, and Sinovac), on or before June 4, 2022.

The full list of vaccines with final U.S. Federal Drug Administration status and WHO EUL/PQ evaluation status is available.

ATC may expand the list of vaccines, provide more specific guidance regarding mixed vaccination dosing, and/or provide additional guidance regarding boosters as prevailing public health guidance evolves.

How Do I Provide ATC COVID-19 Vaccination Status?

Attendees, Exhibitors, and Press will need to upload their COVID-19 vaccine verification prior to printing a registration badge.  Once you have uploaded your COVID-19 vaccine verification, you will receive a confirmation SMS text message or email that must be presented at the Vaccine Verification desks located in Hall A, Plaza Level of the Hynes Convention Center.
